What is posturology?
Also called posturography, posturology is a diagnostic method that consists of treating certain disorders through the restoration of postural balance.
Posturology is a discipline that studies how one holds oneself: balance, stature, poise, stability, etc. It takes into account the ability to balance on one’s feet as well as the symmetry of the body or the visual perception of horizontality.
The goal of Posturology
– Highlight the postural imbalance.
– Find the causes of this imbalance.
– Recalibrate the postural system as a whole.
– Reduce or even eliminate abnormal stresses on the osteoarticular system.
